Proactiveness – One Step Ahead: Failure Prevention Mode – Zero Nonconformity
Overview
There are 3 levels of actions typically experienced by organization. Level 3 is called Corrective or Restorative Action – where organization basically does not put in place any preventive measure before starting its activity, hence, the organization experience frequent operation problems. Level 2 is called Preventive Action – where organization does not put in place proactive measure before starting its activity, hence, the organization faces potential problem but have enough time to react to prevent problem from occurring. Level 1 is called Proactive Action – where organization put in place risk assessment and mitigation plan prior to starting its activity. Generally, level 1 organization will unlikely experience problem or even potential problem. In addition, even if potential problem occurs, the organization still have the opportunity to take preventive action without succumbing to failure of facing problem and taking Corrective Action.
This program highlights the standard tools and techniques in conducting Proactive Action and practicing the culture of Proactiveness in day-to-day operation. Action to prevent potential problem from the very beginning of production conception is called Proactive Action. This methodology is typically practiced in high-risk industry like automotive, pharmaceutical, medical devices, etc., the failure of which can result in death of customer.

- b. Business Risk Assessment and Management
- c. Business Environmental Risk Assessment using RCFA Root Cause Factor Action Analysis Expected outcomes: Participants should be able use Proactive Action tools with confident. Upon regular use of such tools, naturally every individual and the whole team will be developing the Proactiveness Culture with high level self and team initiatives.
